An event promoted by the Digitalization Committee of the Supreme Court of Cassation, in collaboration with all the main institutions involved in digitalization.
Since 2013, it has been a constructive forum for dialogue, engaging stakeholders at all levels on the digitalization of justice, public administration, and commercial relations. Initially focused on ordinary justice, it was later extended to all electronic processes and, more generally, to digital tools spanning both public and private sectors, with the recent inclusion of experts from European institutions (European Commission, European Judicial Training Network, European Court of Human Rights, European Court of Justice).
The 2025 edition, scheduled for October 3–4 in Capri, will focus on “Artificial Intelligence in Justice,” a disruptive phenomenon that is revolutionizing processes and organizations.
The Conference maintains its dual nature:
- Friday, October 3, afternoon: GIUDLAV’s core session, dedicated to labor law.
- Saturday, October 4, morning: institutional session with representatives from the CSM, Ministry of Justice, SSM, other judiciaries, Notariat, Public Advocacy, private bar associations, national institutions, and academia.
- Saturday, October 4, afternoon: ORGANIZZANDO’s core session, with five parallel sessions:
- Electronic Civil Procedure
- Electronic Criminal Procedure
- Practical experiences and experiments with AI in justice
- International cooperation and EU regulations (in English)
- Tax Justice (organized by the Tax Justice system)
The true spirit of the conference is to give a voice to anyone who wishes to contribute, either in person or asynchronously (video presentation published on the website).
A second application form has been activated for speaking engagements in the groups on October 3rd and 4th. A blog is also available for comments during or after the sessions (this section is subject to moderation).
In early September, the final program will be published based on the afternoon applications received. The institutional program for Saturday morning, curated by the CED of the Supreme Court of Cassation, is available in draft form.
